1)TO DO ANYTHING SHORT OF SIN TO REACH PEOPLE WITHOUT CHRIST.

2)TO ACCOMPLISH MORE WITH LESS.
You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Matthew 25:23
3)TO ACCOMPLISH MORE TOGETHER THAN ALONE.
There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. Acts 4:34-35
4)WE ARE NOT A MEGACHURCH, BUT A MICROCHURCH WITH A MEGA VISION.

Genesee Road COG is to be:
1.A movement committed to the authority of Holy Scripture for faith and direction
2.A church whose worship brings God’s power into the life of the church and extends that power through the lives of believers into the community.
3.A church that is directed by the Spirit, fully understanding that baptism in the Holy Spirit is both a personal blessing and an endowment of power for witness and service in fulfilling the Great Commission.
4.A church who hungers for God, experiences the presence of God, and stands in awe of His holiness and that He changes believers into conformity with Christ.
5.A New Testament church which focuses on the church where the pastor nurtures and leads all members to exercise spiritual gifts in ministry.
6.A church that loves all people and stands opposed to any action or policy that discriminates against any group or individual because of race, color or nationality.
7.A church that evidences love and concern for the hurts and loneliness of the unsaved through aggressive evangelistic, discipling, and nurturing ministries.
8.A church that is Christ-centered, people-oriented, and need-sensitive in all its programs and ministries.
9.A church that promotes policies and ministries which reflect an open, sincere effort to remain relevant to each generation.
1.GROW – We commit to grow Spiritually by reading and studying God’s word and being doers of the word. By communicating with Christ on a daily bases. (Colossians 1:9,10; 1 Peter 2:1-25; Eph 4:15,16;Heb 6:1,2; Hosea 4:6; James 1:22; 1 Thess 5:17)
2.RADICAL WORSHIP – We commit to have heartfelt praise and worship that touches Heaven and changes earth; worship which influences the praises of people throughout not just the church but the city, exalting Christ with powerful songs of faith and hope. (John 4:24; Psalm 29:2; Rom. 12:1; 1 Cor. 12:4-11; Isa. 58; Mat. 25:31-46)
3.CONNECT – We commit to connect with each other as the body of Christ, to get connected into our city and for new members to get connected into church ministries. (Eph 4:11-13; Ps 133:1; 1 Peter 3:8; 1 Cor. 12: 12,13; Ecclesiastes 4:9–12)
4.OUTREACH – We commit ourselves to intentionally reaching the unconverted, to build loving, caring relationships that starts in our community and spreads throughout the world. (Mark 16:15; 2 Tim 4:2; Acts 1:8; Matt 10:7-14;
5.Gifts Of The Spirit – We commit ourselves to operating in ALL the Gifts of the Spirit as to edify the church and our community. (1 cor. 12:8-10; 1 Peter 4:10; Rom 12:6-8; 1 Tim 4:14-16)
The Church that I see is a Church of influence. A Church so large in size that Flint cannot ignore it. A Church growing so quickly that buildings struggle to contain the increase.
I see a Church whose heartfelt praise and worship touches Heaven and changes earth; worship which influences the praises of people throughout not just the church but the city, exalting Christ with powerful songs of faith and hope.
I see a Church whose altars are constantly filled with repentant sinners responding to Christ's call to salvation.
The Church that I see is so dependent on the Holy Spirit that nothing will stop it nor stand against it; a Church whose people are unified, praying and full of God's Spirit.
The Church that I see has a message so clear that lives are changed forever and potential is fulfilled through the power of His Word.
I see a Church so compassionate that people are drawn from impossible situations into a loving and friendly circle of hope, where answers are found and acceptance is given.
I see a people so Kingdom-minded that they will count whatever the cost and pay whatever the price to see revival sweep this land.
The Church that I see is a Church so committed to raising, training and empowering a leadership generation to reap the end-time harvest that all its ministries are consumed with this goal.
I see a Church whose head is Jesus, whose help is the Holy Spirit and whose focus is the Great Commission
